Fujitsu Windows 7 Upgrade Program

Fujitsu is delighted to launch its royalty-free Windows 7 upgrade program on all new PCs and notebooks pre-loaded with Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Business.

From Friday June 26th 2009, customers purchasing qualifying products will be offered an upgrade voucher that can be redeemed through a proof of purchase process when the new operating system is launched by Microsoft later this year.

Any qualifying Fujitsu system running either Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Business operating systems (i.e. ESPRIMO & AMILO PC's or AMILO, ESPRIMO & LIFEBOOK Notebooks) manufactured after June 26th 2009 will receive an upgrade voucher that can be redeemed from the time of the Windows 7 launch until the end of January 2010.

Where Channel inventory was manufactured before June 26th 2009 but purchased after June 26th 2009 the same free upgrade eligibility will apply. In these cases end users will need to submit a copy of their invoice and their Microsoft Certificate of Authenticity (COA) number when submitting the upgrade claim.

Fujitsu is offering 2 upgrade paths encompassing both 32bit and 64bit operating system versions:

1. From the Windows Vista Home Premium 32-bit & 64-bit versions to the Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit & 64-bit versions.
2. From the Vista Business 32-bit & 64-bit versions to the Windows 7 Professional 32-bit & 64-bit versions.

The voucher number or COA number submitted will ensure that end users receive the correct upgrade to their existing operating system.

The upgrade is royalty-free, however a small delivery charge for shipping and handling applies.
